GROUP A : Economical Car (Axia, Iriz,Bezza, Saga or similar)
GROUP B : Medium Range Car (Mitsubishi Xpander, Honda City, Toyota Vios, Proton X50, Proton X70, Mazda CX-5 , Honda CR-V or similar)
GROUP C : Higher Range Car (Vellfire, Alphard, Starex, Staria, Voxy, Serena Camry, KIA Carnival, Mazda CX-8, Honda Accord, Pick Up 4 x4 or any similar range vehicle)
GROUP D : Luxury Sedan or SUV (Mercedes, BMW, C200, C300, X5, X6, or any similar vehicle)
GROUP E : Ultra Luxury Car, Super Car, Sport Car ( Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce, BMW i7, Merc S Series, or any similar vehicle)
MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD
The minimum rental period is one (1) day or twenty-four (24) hours. Extensions exceeding five (5) hours will be charged as a full-day rate.
Low Season / Weekdays: Minimum 1 day (24 hours)
Weekend / Genting Highlands: Minimum 2 days
Outstation to Kelantan, Perlis, Kedah, Terengganu: Minimum 3 days
Outstation to other states: Minimum 2 days
Peak Season (Public Holidays, School Holidays, Chinese New Year, Aidil Adha): Minimum 3 days
Super Peak Season (Aidil Fitri): Minimum 7 days
PAYMENT TERMS
A minimum payment of twenty percent (20%) of the total rental amount is required upon issuance of the invoice to secure the booking and reserve the vehicle. Bookings without payment are subject to availability.
The remaining balance must be fully settled either twenty-four (24) hours before the rental date or upon receiving the vehicle.
For rental contracts of one (1) month or longer, one (1) month rental fee and a Security Deposit equivalent to one (1) month rental amount shall be paid prior to the delivery of the vehicle.
For long-term rentals with monthly payment arrangements, subsequent monthly payments are due thirty (30) days from the date the vehicle is received. The due date will be clearly stated in the agreement or latest invoice.
No late payment interest or penalty shall be charged. However, the Company reserves the right to recover any actual administrative, operational, or collection costs incurred due to late payment, and to apply the Security Deposit to offset any outstanding charges.
The Company reserves the right to suspend the use of the vehicle, repossess the vehicle, or terminate the contract if no payment is received within seven (7) days after the due date.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION FEE
Delivery and collection within a 10 KM radius shall be charged at MYR25 per trip.
For distances exceeding 10 KM, a charge of MYR1.50 per KM shall apply.
An additional surcharge of MYR15.00 per trip applies for delivery or collection before 08:00 or after 23:00.
VEHICLE USE
The vehicle is strictly provided for personal or authorized company use only. It shall not be used for any commercial or profit-generating activities unless expressly approved in writing by the Company.
The hirer is strictly prohibited from using the vehicle for, including but not limited to :
– E-hailing or ride-sharing services (e.g., Grab, inDrive, etc.) – Sub-leasing or renting out the vehicle to any third party – Transporting passengers or goods for payment or reward – Racing, off-road use, or any form of reckless or dangerous driving – Illegal activities including drug trafficking, smuggling, theft, or violation of any law – Participation in motorsport events, towing, or pushing another vehicle
Territorial Restrictions
The vehicle shall not be driven outside Malaysia without prior written approval and the necessary border documentation from the Company.
Travel to high-risk or restricted zones (including certain rural, construction, or off-road areas) is not permitted unless approved by the Company.
Travel to Genting Highlands shall be subject to additional vehicle requirements and conditions due to steep terrain and brake-load safety considerations. The Company reserves the right to deny certain vehicle groups from entering specific areas.
Breach and Penalties
Any breach of the above restrictions entitles The Company to:
– impose penalty charges and/or additional mileage or wear-related fees ; – recover all costs related to towing, damages, enforcement or repatriation ; – suspend or immediately terminate the rental ; and – repossess the vehicle without prior notice.
DRIVER’S AGE AND LICENCE REQUIREMENTS
Drivers must be between 23 and 65 years of age.
The maximum number of drivers allowed per vehicle is two (2) persons.
Additional drivers are chargeable at MYR10 per person per day.
All additional drivers must be registered upon vehicle collection and are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Foreign nationals holding a valid English-language driving licence may drive in Malaysia for a maximum of 3 months.
Probationary licence holders (P Licence) are not permitted.
The Company reserves the right to impose penalties starting from MYR500 if the hirer allows an unauthorized person to drive the vehicle.
VEHICLE COLLECTION
Only the individual who made the booking and provided valid IC/passport and driving licence (“Authorised Hirer”) may collect the vehicle.
Vehicles will not be handed over to any other person unless prior written approval from the Authorised Hirer is obtained and the nominated person’s identification is verified in advance.
Collection by an unapproved individual may be treated as a cancellation, with fees or deposit forfeiture applicable.
The hirer must bring photocopies of IC/passport, driving licence, business card, or other supporting documents verifying address.
The hirer must inspect the vehicle upon collection and report any damage or missing parts immediately.
Any unreported damage shall be deemed the hirer’s responsibility.
MILEAGE POLICY
Daily Rental
Mileage limit : 150 Kilometer (KM) per day.
Excess mileage charges shall be as follows:
– Group A : MYR0.50 – RM0.70 per KM – Group B : MYR0.80 – RM1.00 per KM – Group C : MYR1.00 – RM1.50 per KM – Group D : MYR2.00 – RM3.00 per KM – Group E : MYR5.00 – RM10.00 per KM
For Group A, B, and C vehicles rented for more than three (3) days, mileage shall be unlimited. The Company reserves the right to impose mileage charges if excessive or abnormal usage patterns are detected
Group C, D and E vehicles remain subject to the mileage limits above.
Monthly Rental
Mileage limit: 3,500 km/month.
Additional mileage charges may apply according to vehicle group and customers are responsible for arranging and paying for the next service.
MAINTENANCE AND WEAR & TEAR
Routine maintenance servicing and normal wear and tear are covered by the Company, provided there is no excessive or improper use.
For monthly rentals, the service interval is once every three (3) months or every 10,000 km, whichever comes first.
Any mileage exceeding the allocated limit – whether the monthly 10,000 km service threshold or the mileage limit set by the respective vehicle group – will incur additional charges based on the applicable group rate (RM0.50 to RM10.00 per km).
The customer is responsible for arranging and bearing the cost of the next scheduled service once the mileage threshold is exceeded.
Any repairs arising from negligence, improper handling, or abusive use shall be fully borne by the customer.
Odometer Reporting and Responsibility
Customers must provide the vehicle’ odometer reading every months for monitoring and recording purposes.
Customers are required to submit the vehicle’s odometer reading every 2 – 3 weeks to ensure accurate monitoring and proper record-keeping.
Failure to provide the odometer reading within the specified timeframe, or providing inaccurate information, will result in the customer being liable for any additional costs or service fees incurred as a consequence of the delay or inaccuracy.
The Company reserves the right to charge the customer for all costs arising from missed or late odometer reporting, including but not limited to additional service charges, excess mileage fees, or administrative costs.
INSURANCE/TAKAFUL & VEHICLE
All vehicles are insured under a standard motor insurance/takaful policy.
The hirer shall be liable for the following standard excess amounts: MYR4,000 for Group A, MYR6,000 for Group B, MYR10,000 for Group C, MYR20,000 for Group D, and MYR30,000 for Group E.
Insurance/takaful and excess protection do not apply to damages arising from negligence, wrongful use, illegal activities, tyre punctures, burst tyres, fuel errors, battery damage due to electrical devices left on, or lost/damaged accessories.
Insurance/takaful applies only to collisions between two moving vehicles. Stationary damage is fully borne by the hirer.
For third-party incidents, the hirer must obtain the third party’s name, IC/passport, driving licence and vehicle number.
If claims cannot be made against the third party, all damages shall be borne according to the applicable excess.
Underbody, windscreen and overhead damage are always at the hirer’s own risk.
Insurance/takaful becomes void if the vehicle is driven on unsealed or off-road surfaces.
The hirer must notify the Company immediately in the event of an accident or theft.
A police report must be made within twenty-four (24) hours.
ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE RECOVERY FEE
In any accident or collision, regardless of fault. the Company may impose an Accident Management & Administrative Recovery Fee.
This fee covers coordination of reports, communication with authorities, and vehicle downtime.
The fee is charged per incident and is separate from insurance excess or other penalties.
The standard fee ranges from MYR1,000 to MYR5,000 depending on vehicle group.
BREAKDOWN, NEGLIGENCE & THIRD-PARTY INCIDENTS
Mechanical Breakdown
If a breakdown occurs due to mechanical failure or normal wear and tear not caused by the hirer, the Company will, subject to availability and reasonable assessment, provide repair assistance or a replacement vehicle at no additional cost to the hirer.
Negligence or Misuse
If the breakdown or damage is caused by negligence, misuse, improper handling, unauthorized use, or failure to exercise reasonable care, the Company is not obligated to provide repair coverage, replacement vehicle, or any compensation.
In such cases where the hirer still wishes to proceed with repair support, towing, or replacement vehicle request, all related costs, charges, and liabilities shall be fully borne by the hire
The hirer remains responsible for all costs and liabilities associated with such incidents.
Examples of negligence include (but are not limited to):
Engine overheating due to failure to monitor coolant or warning lights
Battery drain caused by leaving lights or electrical devices on
Damaged tyres/rims from potholes, curbs, or off-road driving
Collisions with animals caused by unsafe driving
ccidents due to reckless behavior, distracted driving, or ignoring warning indicators
Third-Party Incidents
If a breakdown, accident, or damage involves a third party, the hirer must: Obtain the third party’s name, IC/Passport, driving licence, and vehicle registration number
Notify the Company immediately and submit a police report within 24 hours of the incident or discovery of damage/theft
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the hirer being fully liable for all costs, damages, and any associated fees.
Request for Assistance Despite Negligence or Third-Party Fault
If the hirer still requests towing, repair, or replacement vehicle services under negligence or third-party fault circumstances, all related costs will be borne by the hirer.
Company Assessment
The Company’s determination of negligence or third-party fault shall be final and binding.
SPEED LIMIT
The Malaysian highway speed limit is 110 KM/H and 90 KM/H on standard roads.
The hirer must comply with all traffic laws.
FUEL POLICY
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of collection.
A refuelling surcharge of up to MYR300 may apply.
RETURNING THE VEHICLE
The hirer must notify the Company of early return, late return, or any request for extension at least twelve (12) hours in advance and not later than six (6) hours before the scheduled return time (“Cut-Off Period”).
Failure to comply may result in double charges based on prevailing rates.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Daily rentals require a security deposit between MYR300 and MYR3,000 per vehicle.
Refunds will be processed within 7 to 15 working days, subject to vehicle condition, rental duration and absence of summons.
PENALTIES
The hirer shall be liable for the full value of the vehicle if used for unlawful or criminal activities.
Vehicles must be returned clean. Excessive dirt or odour may incur a cleaning fee of up to MYR500.
Pets and smoking are strictly prohibited; a penalty of MYR500 applies.
All traffic/parking summonses are the hirer’s responsibility.
A penalty of MYR300 applies if summonses are not settled within the time specified after notification.
Long-term renters must return the vehicle for scheduled servicing; failure to do so may incur repair charges.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made at least seventy-two (72) hours before pick-up are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within seventy-two (72) hours allow the Company to deduct one (1) day rental fee.
Last-Minute Cancellation: For cancellations made within seventy-two (72) hours after pick-up, one (1) day rental fee and applicable charges shall apply.
Monthly Rental: Early termination shall be recalculated based on published daily rates, and refunds adjusted accordingly.
TERMINATION FOR MISUSE
The Company reserves the right to immediately terminate the Agreement if the hirer engages in misuse, including unauthorized use, illegal operation, reckless driving, or failure to maintain the vehicle.
Additional charges or penalties may apply.
DISCLAIMER
By proceeding with the rental, the hirer acknowledges acceptance of all Terms & Conditions stated herein, including liability, usage restrictions, and maintenance obligations.
The Company reserves the right to enforce these terms under applicable laws.
PERSONAL DATA
The Company reserves the right to share the hirer’s personal data with relevant agencies for debt recovery purposes, subject to the rental agreement.
